Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management at the Springfield Crowne Plaza is seeking a friendly Banquet Server to assist with event setup and service.

You will greet guests, serve food and beverages, and help reset rooms between functions while maintaining hotel standards and safety protocols.

This position offers Full-Time/Part-Time hours with an hourly rate of $16.00–$16.25 and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations & etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces.
• Attend stand-up meetings before events to learn function specifics.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
• Serve food and beverages according to Banquet Captain guidance.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms for subsequent functions as directed.
• Restock banquet shelves and perform side work as needed.
• Follow all health, safety and security procedures.
