Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas is hiring a Part Time Banquet Server to join our events team. You will assist with food and beverage service and coordinate overall banquet events, including set-up and teamwork to maintain hotel standards and guest service.

Qualifying candidates should have banquet or serving experience, be at least 18, with Food Handlers and Tips/SMART Card permits, and be available weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or serving experience preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have current Food Handlers and Tips/SMART Card Permits.
• Minimum of 1+ years banquet server experience.
• This position requires frequent lifting and standing for extended periods.

The Banquet Server is responsible for assisting with food and beverage service and coordination of overall banquet events. This includes set-up, working on a team, communicating effectively with others, maintaining the hotel standards and service of guests.

Duties:

• Ensure quality guest service and comfort by monitoring the area continuously

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
• Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments
• Maintain health and sanitation standards

Qualifications:
