Job summary

Marriott Kansas City Overland Park is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service during weddings, conferences, and other events. You will work with the banquet team to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 6 months to 1 year of serving experience, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills. This position offers a dynamic hospitality environment and opportunities within the Marriott brand.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a smile and positive attitude.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
• Clear tables, clean up after events, and ensure the banquet area is tidy.
