Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Banquet Server to assist with event setup and service at the Waterford Health and Wellness venue. You will greet guests, take seats, refresh beverages, and relay special orders to the kitchen.

Prior banquet service is preferred but training is available. This role requires punctuality, a friendly demeanor, teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Able to work as a team and independently.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Greeting each guest as the enter the venue to assist with finding their seat/place.
• Assist in the preparation and the end of the banquet event.
• Banquet service experience is preferred but not required we will train the right person.
• Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order.
• Support other staff members.
• Respond to the guest in a professional and timely manner.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
