Job summary

North Charleston Embassy Suites in North Charleston, SC is seeking a part-time banquet server. You will set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages with accuracy and guest focus, and maintain banquet areas throughout the event cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups.
• Food Safety certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Alcohol certification or complete training within first 90 days.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet spaces per BEOs, including linens and A/V equipment.
• Serve food and beverages with focus on timing and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet areas throughout the event cycle.
• Manage guest needs with professionalism, supporting the event contact.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
