Job summary

Northwood Hospitality in West Hollywood, CA is seeking Banquet Servers to prepare food and beverage stations and service beverages during banquet functions. You will read the BEO, learn the menu for each function, and ensure guests are served promptly with hospitality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure guests are served promptly and efficiently.
Read and follow the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and become familiar with the menu for the assigned function.
Respond to guest problems and complaints and communicate with management when necessary.
Set up and replenish food, beverage, buffet, and service stations according to the BEO and hotel standards, with the appropriate supplies and service equipment.
Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and orderly manner, stocked with supplies necessary for food service functions.
Clean the banquet space after each function and ensure all supplies and equipment are stored and restocked properly.
