Outrigger in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii is seeking a part-time banquet server to set up outlets for functions, serve food and beverages, and deliver friendly, professional service aligned with our standards of quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Set up guest tables and station areas before, during, and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet venues and equipment.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and upsell where appropriate.
• Adhere to posted work schedule and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain proper set-up of guest tables before, during and after service.
• Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of the service station before, during and after the shift.
• Set up outlets/venue for banquet functions and ensure equipment and decorations are in place.
• Break down banquet setups and reset venue after each function.
• Replenish beverages and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Be a salesperson to guests offering suggestions to increase average food and beverage check.
