Job summary

Castaway in Burbank, CA seeks an experienced Banquet Server to join our Special Events team. You will deliver exceptional dining experiences at weddings, corporate events, and other occasions, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth banquet operations.

Responsibilities include setup, guest greeting, coordinating with kitchen, and maintaining banquet area cleanliness. Must be flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a banquet server or similar role.
• Must be available on Friday and Saturday afternoons/evenings and Sunday mornings/afternoons.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and arrangement of banquet rooms per event specs.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are neat and presentable.
• Verify event details including seating and special requests.
• Greet guests and escort to designated tables; serve meals and beverages.
• Coordinate with kitchen and staff to ensure timely delivery of food.
• Attend to guests and respond to requests; maintain cleanliness of banquet areas.
• Adhere to safety/sanitation rules and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
