Job summary

Graduate by Hilton Bloomington is seeking a Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team, supporting banquets and catering operations and delivering a welcoming guest experience. Compensation is $16.00/hour with part-time hours. The role requires a high school diploma; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from Food & Beverage Manager to support event execution.
• Interpret BEO documents and set up/service per details.
• Prepare banquet rooms with tables, linens, dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Bus and set tables with food, beverages, and condiments as needed.
• Serve food and beverages during events maintaining service standards.
• Provide attentive, professional guest service and meet guest needs promptly.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing event spaces after events.
• Monitor and restock supplies during service.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet equipment and work areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment.
• Contribute ideas to improve event setup and guest satisfaction.
• Comfortably lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
• Assist Poindexter Coffee as a barista when necessary.
