Job summary

Oasis Hotel & Oasis Convention Center is seeking career-driven individuals to provide memorable experiences for our guests. The Banquet Server role covers set-up, service, and breakdown for banquets and events, ensuring consistent standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include interpreting BEOs, arranging rooms, greeting guests, replenishing beverages, and participating in briefings. Flexible scheduling and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills.
• Must be able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
• Positive, professional, upbeat personality with a dedication to guest service.
• Dependable and energetic.
• Previous serving experience preferred, but not required.
• Bartending experience beneficial.
• Audio Visual experience beneficial.
• Flexible scheduling based on business demands.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instructions from Banquets Manager and/or Captain.
• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain (table/seat placement, linen, service-ware, glassware).
• Prepare for the function (place settings, condiments, beverages, etc.).
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Attend Pre-Meal and Post-Meal briefings as directed.
• Serve the food and/or beverage per Captain to ensure consistency.
• Bus dishes and clear tables after each course; reset for next course.
• Reset banquet room after function according to Captain's specs for next event.
• Complete necessary work for future banquet events as directed.
