Job summary

SaddleBrooke Two is seeking a banquet server to provide quality service during banquets, meetings and special functions in Tucson, AZ. You will serve courses of food and beverages, attend to buffet settings, and assist with setup and cleanup before and after events.

Qualifications

• Must hold Arizona Food Handlers Certificate.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be at least 19 years old to meet age requirements for Arizona Liquor Law.
• Must participate in TIPS alcohol training.
• Speed and efficiency in performing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to members and guests by serving entrees and beverages as sit-down meal service, or attend to the buffet, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with set up and tear down of room, including setting tables and moving furniture for events.
• Maintain workstations and perform side duties such as napkin folding and polishing silverware and glassware.

Description

The banquet server is responsible for providing quality service to members and guests in a timely and efficient manner during banquets, meetings and special functions. Primary duties include serving various courses of Food & Beverage items to guests at tables for a seated event or aiding during a buffet style setting. Other duties include being involved in the setup and clean up before and after events. Performs other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide service to members and guests by serving entrees and beverages as sit-down meal service, or attend to the buffet, in a timely and efficient manner. Manage any special guest or event host requests.
• Assist with set up and tear down of room. This includes setting tables with dishes and utensils, moving tables and chairs, changing room for entertainment after the dinner seating.
• Maintain workstations and do assigned side work such as napkin folding, sorting and polishing silverware, polishing glassware, stocking dishes on shelves, etc.

Requirements

• Requires possession of Arizona Food Handlers Certificate.
• Speed and efficiency in performing assigned tasks.
• Must be at least 19 years of age to meet age requirements for Arizona Liquor Law.
• Must participate in TIPS alcohol training
