Job summary

The Estate Yountville in Yountville, CA invites you to join its events team as a Banquet Server. This seasonal role supports weddings and events across two luxury hotels, Villagio and Vintage House, in Napa Valley’s wine country.

You’ll deliver polished service, assist with setup and breakdown, coordinate with kitchen and event staff to ensure flawless timing, and maintain a welcoming, professional appearance. The position offers $17 per hour and a competitive seasonal benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel/related field preferred.
• Previous banquet server or hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of banquet and event service procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces per floor plans and specifications.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and event equipment accurately.
• Greet guests and provide attentive, professional service.
• Serve food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner (Servers/Bartenders).
• Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with standards (Bartenders).
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations.
• Assist with transporting equipment, setup, and breakdown (Housemen).
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to ensure proper timing of service.
• Address guest requests and resolve concerns promptly.
• Uphold a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and reset.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring Banquet Servers, Bartenders, and Housemen to support our events and banquet operations. These roles are responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless event execution, and maintaining a polished and welcoming environment for any guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
