The Banquet Server provides attentive, professional service during weddings, private parties, business meetings, golf outings, and other special events at the Club. This position works closely with the Events and Food & Beverage teams to ensure each function is properly prepared, efficiently served, and completed according to the Club’s standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview event details, menus, timelines, and special guest requests before each function.Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet stations, beverage stations, and event décor.Welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately using proper banquet-service techniques.Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.Monitor tables throughout events and remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils as needed.Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas.Assist with buffet service, plated meals, receptions, coffee service, and bar support as assigned.Follow food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, and Club policies.Communicate guest concerns or special requests promptly to the Banquet Captain or Events Manager.Assist with room breakdown, cleaning, and resetting after each event.Handle Club property, equipment, and supplies carefully.Perform other related duties as assigned.Workplace ExpectationsBanquet Servers are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, teamwork, and hospitality. Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Weekly hours may vary depending on scheduled events and seasonal business levels.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry trays, tables, chairs, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move safely throughout event spaces.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
