Job summary

Aronimink Golf Club is seeking Banquet Servers for evening and weekend events in a classic setting. You will help execute exceptional dining experiences for weddings, golf tournaments, corporate events, and private club functions by setting up banquet spaces and delivering service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility; prior banquet or hospitality experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided. Uniforms, meals, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Availability on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays (holiday availability is a plus).
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food/beverage trays weighing up to 30–50 lbs.
• Strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and a polished, professional appearance.
• Prior banquet, restaurant, or catering experience is preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup: set up dining spaces with tables, chairs, linens, serviceware and stations.
• Food & Beverage Service: serve plated meals, pass hors d'oeuvres, manage buffet stations, refill beverages.

In this role, you will help execute exceptional dining experiences for weddings, golf tournaments, corporate events, and private club functions by setting up banquet spaces, delivering top-tier food and beverage service, and assisting with event teardown.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Setup: Set up dining spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, and buffet/bar stations according to event layouts.
• Food & Beverage Service: Serve plated meals, pass hors d'oeuvres, manage buffet stations, and refill beverages attentively.
• Member & Guest Relations: Provide warm, attentive hospitality, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Clearing & Maintenance: Bus tables promptly throughout service, maintain clean work stations, and keep dining rooms pristine.
• Teardown & Breakdown: Assist with post-event teardown, returning equipment to designated areas, and preparing rooms for upcoming events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Availability: Must have reliable availability on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays (holiday availability is a plus).
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, and carry food/beverage trays weighing up to 30–50 lbs throughout shifts.
