Responsibilities

• Set up, serve, clean, and tear down banquet events as per the Banquet Captain
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks accurately
• Serve food and beverages professionally, table-side, and from buffets
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and appearance of tables, buffets, and breaks
• Assist team members to ensure a successful event exceeding guest expectations
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance as an ambassador of the hotel
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality
• Be knowledgeable about menu items and answer guest questions accurately
• Perform cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Must have a professional demeanor, warm personality, and ability to connect with others. Be caring, compassionate, and able to find solutions in unclear situations. Create trust and confidence through effective communication. Be available on days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain a professional appearance. Hotel management experience required; hospitality degree preferred. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and lifting objects under 25 pounds.
