WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
You will use your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with blood collection. This involves transporting and setting up equipment at community sites, creating a welcoming environment for donors, and following safety procedures to collect and deliver lifesaving blood donations to hospitals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Connect personally with donors, sharing the impact of their donations.
- Create a friendly environment to encourage repeat donations.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- May operate Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup and teardown at donation sites. A minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.
Schedule:
- Variable schedule rotating every other week, Monday-Friday & Tuesday-Saturday.
- Two days off in a row, either Saturday & Sunday or Sunday & Monday.
- Work hours may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Overnight travel may be necessary in some locations.
- Schedules are provided 2-3 weeks in advance.
Pay: Starting at $19.75/hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience and effective communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good record.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects, sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to irregular hours and schedule changes. Minimum height of 60 inches may be required for vehicle operation.
- Experience working with mobile blood drives and setting up/taking down equipment.
- Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT).
- Leadership experience.
