InterContinental Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is seeking an On-Call Part-Time Banquet Server. This role delivers luxury food and beverage service for hotel functions, upholding InterContinental standards and guest satisfaction.

You will set tables, handle service duties, and assist guests during events in a fast-paced banquet environment at MSP airport. Compensation offers up to $16.37 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts.
• TIPS certification required.
• Previous banquet or hotel serving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests according to standards.
• Set tables per BEO specifications and assist with service.
• Attend to guest needs during functions and events.
• Report equipment or housekeeping issues to the Banquets Director.
• Maintain liquor liability compliance and responsible service.
• Attend designated pre-meal meetings and follow banquet orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Collaborate with the Banquet Captain and team to ensure smooth service.

Job Description: On Call Part Time Banquet Server

This position ensures that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the hotel are served on time and that all of InterContinental's luxury standards are being upheld.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and Director of Banquets.
• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
• Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
• Report to the Director of Banquets any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
• Must follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s).
• Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and have excellent customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be TIPS Certified.
• Previous serving experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort.
