Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group in Huntsville, AL is seeking a courteous banquet server to set up banquet spaces for events, greet guests, and provide attentive service. You will deliver food and beverages, maintain high standards, and promptly clear dishes as courses finish.

The role requires adherence to alcohol-service laws and the ability to reset rooms for subsequent functions. You will participate in pre-event briefings, support guest satisfaction throughout the event, and comply with attendance

Qualifications

• Set up banquet room per Supervisor instructions, including linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per Supervisor guidance and maintain consistency.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction during events.
• Reset banquet room after function to Supervisor specifications for the next event.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
