Job summary

Thornblade Club, a private golf and country club located in Greer, South Carolina, is seeking friendly banquet staff to assist with setup and service for member events. You will help prepare banquet spaces, ensure timely food service to guests, and maintain service standards throughout shifts.

• Prior banquet/restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown banquet/meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, center pieces, and all other event provisions.
• Provide excellent and prompt food service to members and guests.
• Ensure glasses are refilled; remove used dishes and replenish utensils.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by supervisor and staff.

• Set up and breakdown banquet/meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions including tables and chairs, table condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.), linens, place settings, center pieces, and all other event provisions
• Ensure excellent and prompt food service to members and guests
• Ensure glasses are refilled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
• Performs any other duties deemed necessary by supervisor and professional staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquets or restaurant preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a point-of-sale system
