Job summary

Thornblade Club in Greer, SC seeks a friendly golf operations attendant to greet members, load bags, and keep carts and gear ready for play. You will help with range operations, cart cleanliness, and assist staff to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

This role involves physical activity outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs, working weekdays and weekends, and adhering to safety and dress standards. Prior golf or country club experience is nice but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness.
• Preference for golf knowledge or country club experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets all members and guests upon arrival and assists with loading and unloading golf bags.
• Ensures carts are staged and properly stocked.
• Ensures rental sets are properly cleaned, stored and accounted for.
• Washes golf carts nightly and ensures proper storage, including charging batteries.
• Assists with cart detailing and range operations as needed.
• Cleans member's clubs and assists with starting players and facility asset care.

Weekday and weekend shifts available; opening shift 6a-2p and closing shift 1p-9p (may vary seasonally).

Background and drug screening are required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Greets all members and guests upon arrival and assists with the loading and unloading of golf bags
• Ensures carts are staged and properly stocked
• Ensures rental sets are properly cleaned, stored and accounted for
• Washes golf carts nightly and assures proper storage to include charging batteries
• Assists with cart detailing
• Picks up driving range balls and assures they are cleaned
• Keeps cart facility parking lot, staging area and other areas of facility free of litter
• Cleans member\'s clubs at the beginning and conclusion of play
• Assists with starting players and assures proper care of all facility assets
• Performs any other duties deemed necessary by supervisor and professional staff

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of the golf game or country club preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service/interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented

Requirements

• Possess the ability to drive a gas and/or battery operated golf cart, following safety guidelines
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.)
• Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight
