Job description

Join to apply for the Banquet Server role at The Country Club of Fairfax.

Looking for special event servers and bartenders with a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, holidays, and split shifts. Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates with the right personality!

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.
• Working with Food and Beverage Managers, Banquet Manager, Banquet Chef, and others to meet guests' needs.
• Carrying out service procedures during all phases of a catered event, from setup to breakdown.
• Maintaining the neatness, cleanliness, and safety of all banquet areas.
• Executing table diagrams, guest tables, and setup needs as documented in the Banquet Event Order for special functions.
• Final breakdown and cleanup of events, including returning equipment to storage and resetting for the next event.
• Ensuring compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of Banquet Server experience, preferably with fine dining or banquet background; bilingual preferred (Spanish, English).
• Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of food service principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Good communication skills and an outgoing personality.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, kneel, bend, and reach.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
