Job summary

White Lodging is seeking banquet staff to support event setup, service, and teardown across premium hotels and venues. You will professionally serve beverages and food tableside or from buffets, ensure tables and breaks remain clean and appealing, and assist the banquet team to deliver memorable events.

Ideal candidates have an outgoing personality, strong communication, and a service-oriented approach. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is a plus, and you must be able to stand for long

• Knowledge of various food-service styles.
• Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and move for long periods of time and lift more than 10 pounds.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean and stocked.
• Assist other banquet team members to deliver exceptional events.
• Maintain a neat, professional hotel appearance as an ambassador.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality.
• Know all menu items, contents, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform opening/closing duties and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
