Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Server to join our outstanding banquets team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Banquets and Banquet Leaders to successfully execute all operations related to the Banquets department, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will ensure that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the hotel are served on time and that all of Omni's professional standards are upheld.

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have banquet / event serving experience in a hotel or similar environment, we would love to speak with you about this role. Enjoy the flexibility of an on-call position where you choose the shifts you want to pick up (minimum of two shifts per month), or a part-time position (PM shifts).

Salary range for this position (based on experience): $22.00/hour. On-Call Associates may be eligible for select benefits based on hours worked. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.
2. Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
3. Attend to all guest needs during functions and related duties.
4. Report to the Banquet Manager any needs for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment.
5. Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
6. Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
7. Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
8. Follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
9. Set tables to specifications, carry trays, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

1. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a full shift.
2. Must have Food Handlers Certification prior to hire and obtain an on-site alcohol certification once hired.
3. Previous banquet or high-volume serving experience required.
4. Experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort preferred but not required.
5. Requires some weekend and evening availability.
6. Must be 18 years or older.
