Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises seeks a Banquet Prep Cook at Renaissance Westerville, the #1 Renaissance Hotel in the country. You will help prepare foods for banquets and events in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, following BEOs and recipes to ensure event readiness.

The role requires kitchen or prep cook experience, knowledge of basic techniques and food safety, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Join a team dedicated to hospitality and growth.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or prep cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for banquets and events (proteins, sauces, veggies, buffets).
• Execute prep lists based on BEOs, timelines and standardized recipes.
• Support large-scale culinary production for conferences and weddings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe workstations.
• Collaborate with Lead Banquet Cook and Culinary Leadership for event readiness.
• Assist with plating, garnishing, and banquet setup as needed.
• Cross-train on Line Cook duties and service execution.
• Support other kitchen areas during peak periods.
