Job summary

Quorum Hospitality, a leading hotel management company, is seeking a Banquet Porter for Hilton Garden Inn Wailua Bay to help deliver flawless events. You will assist with setup, serve guests, restock supplies, and maintain a pristine banquet space, ensuring every detail aligns with event specifications.

You will be attentive to dietary restrictions and guest needs, collaborating with the team to ensure timely service and smooth breakdown after events.

Qualifications

• Banquet experience in hotels or restaurants is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications.

• Prepare banquet setups according to event specifications.
• Support the team with serving, refilling, and restocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the space throughout the event and break down the room at the end.

Hourly Pay: $23.87 Per Hour

Your Role:

As a Banquet Porter, you will be a vital part of each event, ensuring everything runs like clockwork from behind the scenes. Here are some of the things you’ll do:

• Prepare banquet setups according to event specifications.
• Support the team with serving, refilling, and restocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the space throughout the event and break down the room at the end.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Stay informed about event details, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior banquet experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications.
