Job summary

The AM/PM Cook at The Hilton Garden Inn Harlingen, TX, part of BC Lynd Hospitality, is responsible for all aspects of production based on standardized recipes for the restaurant, room service, and banquets, while maintaining the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product and developing new pastry/pastry/bread products for outlets and banquets and control.

You will maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and support other kitchen

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive kitchen experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Culinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, breads, and desserts according to hotel standards.
• Produce items for restaurant, room service, employees, and banquets based on standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas.
• Assist in banquet production and staff scheduling as needed.
• Check food purchases for quality and price structure.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
