Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Harlingen is hiring an AM/PM Cook to handle all aspects of production for the restaurant, room service, employees, and banquets according to standardized recipes. You will also develop new pastry, dessert, and bread items and ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen.

The role requires flexibility, capacity to work weekends and holidays, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment while maintaining high standards and cost controls.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related progressive experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.

Responsibilities

• Produce pastries/desserts/breads for outlets and banquets based on standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas; minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
• Develop new dessert/pastry/bread products for outlets and banquets.
