Job summary

1 year of banquet setup experience and strong leadership are required, with clear English

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-year banquet set-up experience is required.
• Previous supervisor/leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be familiar with various room sets and able to execute BEO specifications.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspects each function room prior to the event to ensure client needs and hotel standards are met.
• Contacts meeting planners to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.
• Coordinates with banquet house personnel to maintain codes and hygiene requirements.
• Reviews daily worksheets and assigns duties to banquet staff.
• Monitors cleanliness and organization of storage areas and back-of-house.
• Ensures room setup consistency, lighting, temperatures, and equipment readiness.
• Adheres to all hotel policies and disciplinary procedures as needed.
• Works flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
