Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within catering and food and beverage.
• Experience managing people and solving complex problems.
• Ability to investigate and analyze current activities and information to draw conclusions.
• Excellent hearing for verbal interaction with guests and team.
• Excellent vision for reading plans and set-ups.
• Excellent literacy to read BEOs and process payroll.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of banquets to ensure service quality and profitability.
• Meet with customers to review Banquet Event Orders and address changes or issues.
• Prepare and present banquet checks for payment signature.
• Prepare daily gratuities and payroll reporting to the Controller’s department.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of banquet areas and equipment.
• Read and complete banquet event orders and set-ups accurately.
• Set tables in assigned areas with correct layout and presentation.
• Communicate with guests, managers and staff to meet/exceed expectations.
• Able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Review schedules, equipment, supplies and organize workflow for quality events.
• Monitor banquet budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while maintaining service.
• Implement company programs and resolve operational problems to ensure SOP compliance.
