Job summary

ASM Global is seeking qualified staff for banquet operations at our Dallas venues. The role includes setting up meeting rooms and private areas, organizing spaces per floor plans and BEOs, and supervising banquet staff to ensure top-tier service.

You will handle teardown, safety, and inventory while supporting events and food/beverage service. The ideal candidate has at least five years in banquet setup, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours in indoor/outdoor stadium

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of banquet setup experience in large, high-volume venues.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling with support equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn additional databases and systems.
• Familiarity with MICROS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms and private function areas with equipment and materials.
• Arrange spaces according to floor plans and banquet orders.
• Maintain and organize banquet storage areas and inventory.
• Tear down and reset event spaces after events.
• Supervise, train, and motivate banquet operations staff.
• Attend weekly stadium conversion meetings and pre-conference sessions.
• Support waitstaff and operations teams to meet high customer service standards.
