We're seeking a driven and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee and grow our banquet operations at Cut132 — from selling and booking events to managing day-of execution with precision and professionalism.

Position Summary:
The Banquet Manager is responsible for both selling and managing all banquet events. This includes client interaction, planning, execution, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires flexibility, strong leadership, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for scheduled events.


Responsibilities

  • Actively sell banquet services to prospective clients through outreach and event proposals.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all banquet clients, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Plan and coordinate all event details including menu selection, room layout, timelines, and staffing.
  • Lead and manage banquet staff during events to ensure service excellence and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Monitor event costs and labor to stay within budgeted goals.
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and manage setup/breakdown processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Drive client satisfaction and repeat business through professional service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Schedule:

  • This position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event bookings.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in banquet, catering, or hospitality management.
  • Proven ability to sell, plan, and execute a wide range of events (corporate functions, weddings, celebrations, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities under pressure.
  • Experience with banquet software or event planning platforms a plus.
  • ServSafe and/or alcohol service certification preferred.
