Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a seasoned Banquet Manager to oversee front and heart-of-house teams, actively participating in day-to-day operations and ensuring guest satisfaction from the start of the banquet to the final bite.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of banquet-management experience, strong leadership, and a track record in guest and team engagement, with excellent verbal and written communication and a flair for wine, food, and trends in events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of similar work experience in hospitality/banquet operations.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of banquet operations; strong leader with a proven track record in guest and team engagement and financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

We’re currently searching for a seasoned and imaginative Banquet Manager to oversee the front and heart-of-house teams. Our Banquet Manager will support each member by actively participating in day-to-day operations, managing guest requests, and setting everyone up for success, from the start of the banquet to the very last bite. About you

Passionate about hospitality and food and beverage and has a minimum of 3 to 5 years of similar work experience. Having a post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. Advanced knowledgeable of banquet operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
