Job summary

Fossil Creek Golf Club is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead and support banquet operations for weddings, tournaments, private events, and club functions in Fort Worth, TX. You will guide banquet staff, coordinate with the F&B Director, and ensure flawless service and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has prior banquet or event-service experience and a proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, hospitality, restaurant, or event-service experience required.
• Experience with weddings and golf tournaments strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet staff during weddings, tournaments, meetings, and special events.
• Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown with the Food & Beverage Director.
• Provide clear direction to servers, bartenders, and banquet staff.
• Ensure staff understand timelines, service standards, menus, and guest expectations.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at events.
• Assist with event setup, room layouts, and food/beverage service.
