Join us as a Banquet Kitchen Supervisor at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants

We are looking for a dedicated Banquet Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team. This role involves overseeing food quality, staff supervision, and ensuring excellent guest experiences in a vibrant, boutique hotel environment.

Responsibilities
  • Interview, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff; assign work; evaluate performance; and mentor team members in collaboration with the Chef.
  • Ensure all food served meets quality and presentation standards.
  • Conduct daily line-ups, training sessions, and team meetings to uphold service standards and empower staff.
  • Support the Chef in training staff to ensure prompt meal preparation, aiming to execute all tickets efficiently.
  • Assist in achieving financial targets without compromising food quality or service standards, and communicate issues to management promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or a minimum of 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience.
  • Expertise in food presentation, quality, and menu development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for food and creating personalized guest experiences.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Handler Certificate (if applicable).
