Job summary

Hotel Kabuki seeks an experienced Steward to join our growing team. A Steward is responsible for washing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supporting breakfast service and banquet events.

This hourly on-call role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for extended periods, and a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. The position pays $34.67 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dishwashing experience, preferably in hotel/banquet setting
• Owns responsibilities for cleanliness and facility upkeep
• Team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellence
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist with breakfast service and banquet events by gathering and setting up equipment, running food, and clearing dishware
• Rinse and stack dirty dishes, ensuring cleanliness for automated washing
• Load and unload dish racks and operate automatic dishwashing equipment
• Polish silver, stainless steel and pewter used in food service
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishroom and kitchen areas in compliance with health standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
