Job summary

The Naples Sailing and Yacht Club is seeking a Food Expeditor / Banquet Set-Up to ensure seamless communication between kitchen and front-of-house and to execute banquet details with precision. You will help expedite orders, verify accuracy, assist servers, and set up dining areas for events.

In this role you’ll collaborate with chefs and event staff, manage station organization, and maintain cleanliness while supporting training of new expediting staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
• Detail orientation with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Physically capable to stand long periods and lift/move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of orders between kitchen and front-of-house to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Ensure all dishes meet standards before leaving the kitchen and assist servers as needed.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to resolve food quality, presentation, or timing issues.
• Organize orders by priority and verify order accuracy before delivery to servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the expediting station and assist in staff training.
