The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a banquet setup houseperson in a large convention center banquet operation and possess prior banquet leadership experience. A background in the hotel industry is a plus.

This stunning 1000-room oceanfront resort offers two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Enjoy stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida.

Shift Pattern: Full flexibility needed to support AM, PM, and overnight shifts

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Houseperson Supervisor, you will oversee the set-up and clean-up of all banquet functions to deliver outstanding guest service and ensure financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:

• Supervising and assisting Housepersons with setup to meet event specifications and with cleanup afterward
• Assisting with tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, and trash disposal
• Planning, organizing, and executing all banquet functions
• Greeting clients and guests, responding to inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
• Participating in and leading department meetings as needed
