The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a AAA Four Diamond resort, seeks Banquet Housepersons to join our food and beverage team. You will assist in setting up, serving, and clearing banquet functions, delivering attentive guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas.
• Set up, serve, maintain, and break down banquet rooms.
• Assist banquet servers and take food and beverage orders.
• Follow banquet event orders and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Operate basic audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervision.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking Banquet Housepersons to work with our food and beverage team. $18 Hourly. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
As a Banquet Houseperson, you're responsible primarily for assisting in serving, setting up, and cleanup of all banquet functions. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds, requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift.
• Ability to follow directions from banquet event orders.
• Must be able to work a flexible shift of mornings or evenings along with weekends and holidays.
• Assist Banquet Servers.
• Responsible for setting up, serving, maintaining and breaking down banquet rooms.
• Ability to carry large and heavy trays on a continuous basis throughout a shift.
• Must be able to set up basic audio-visual equipment.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Reports needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Respond quickly to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely manner.
• Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintains supplies are neat and organized to department standards.
• Maintains security equipment, keys and supplies issued each day.
• Ability to follow directions from banquet set pull sheets.
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions. Employees may be required to perform other and additional duties assigned by their supervisor.
