Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support our Banquet Department in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on setting up and breaking down all banquet spaces and ensuring events meet client expectations while coordinating with managers and supervisors.

You will transport equipment, replenish meeting rooms, and adapt to last-minute changes, maintaining high service standards and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Banquet Houseperson Overview:

Baquet Houseperson is an important role in our Banquet Department. The banquet houseperson will ensure all our events including meetings and conferences are successful. This role is responsible for manually setting up and breaking down all the hotel function space. Banquet Houseperson collects, and services all banquet space in accordance with the Banquet Event Order (BEO). You will work closely with Manager and Supervisors to report any room deficiencies all the while ensuring the client/guests needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Setting up all meeting rooms and functions space

• Breaking down and putting all necessary items away properly

• Transporting tables,chairs,and other banquet equipment to the banquet rooms.

• Replenishing meeting rooms as needed

• Handling any last-minute changes or requests by the client.
