Waterford Hotel Group seeks a Banquet Houseperson to prepare and reset event spaces in our banquet department. You will set up meeting rooms and function spaces, transport equipment, and ensure flawless service for meetings and conferences.

You will work closely with managers and supervisors to report issues and meet guest expectations, showing attention to detail, reliability, and a service mindset. This role emphasizes teamwork and flexibility in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Banquet Houseperson Overview:

Baquet Houseperson is an important role in our Banquet Department. The banquet houseperson will ensure all our events including meetings and conferences are successful. This role is responsible for manually setting up and breaking down all the hotel function space. Banquet Houseperson collects, and services all banquet space in accordance with the Banquet Event Order (BEO). You will work closely with Manager and Supervisors to report any room deficiencies all the while ensuring the client/guests needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up all meeting rooms and functions space
• Breaking down and putting all necessary items away properly
• Transporting tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment to the banquet rooms.
• Replenishing meeting rooms as needed
• Handling any last-minute changes or requests by the client.

Job Requirements:

• A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.

• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Able to work as a team and independently.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.

• Ability to follow instructions.
