Job summary

Paws Up Montana is seeking a Banquet Houseman for Spring/Summer 2027 to deliver world-class hospitality in a luxury ranch resort setting. The role focuses on accurate execution of banquet and event setups, interpreting BEOs to meet event requirements, and upholding the resort's high standards of discretion and personalized service.

You will support on-site event production, layout revisions, and coordination with managers and suppliers to ensure flawless service and presentation across all event

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year setup experience in a luxury resort, fine dining, or banquet setting.
• Current driver's license with two years driving experience.
• Strong understanding of world-class hospitality and service standards.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster a positive working environment.
• Assist with coordination of furniture and product delivery with suppliers, contractors, employees, vendors, and departments.
• Assist with revising room layouts for each event.
• Assist Banquets/Event Managers to ensure proper communication of table and equipment setup and tear-downs.
• Assist with on-site production and cleanup for events as necessary.
• Set all furniture, chairs, and necessary equipment per BEO and Banquet Event Manager needs.
• Ensure proper equipment is working for buffet tables and other food service tables.
• Be able to read and execute BEOs.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Educational, Experience, Licensure Required:

• Current driver’s license with two years driving experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational or job-related course work required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of set up experience, preferably in a luxury resort, fine dining, or banquet setting.
• Strong understanding of world-class hospitality and service standards.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
