Job summary

Paws Up Montana invites applications for the Banquet Houseman position for Spring/Summer 2027. This role supports precise banquet setups in a luxury resort, interpreting BEOs with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include coordinating furniture, layouts, on-site setup, and ensuring equipment readiness. Driving income and guest satisfaction through meticulous execution and teamwork in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with two years driving experience.
• Minimum of one year of set up experience, preferably in a luxury resort, fine dining, or banquet setting.
• Strong understanding of world-class hospitality and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for all.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster a positive working environment.
• Assist with the coordination of furniture and product delivery with suppliers, contractors, employees, vendors, and departments.
• Assist with revising room layouts for each event.
• Assist Banquets/Event Managers to ensure complete effective communication of proper table and equipment setup and tear-downs.
• Assist with on-site production and clean up for events as necessary.
• Set all furniture, chairs and necessary equipment per BEO and Banquet Event Manager need.
• Ensure proper equipment is working for buffet tables and other food service tables.
• Be able to read and execute BEO's.

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational or job-related course work

Educational, Experience, Licensure Required:

• Current driver’s license with two years driving experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational or job-related course work required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of set up experience, preferably in a luxury resort, fine dining, or banquet setting.
• Strong understanding of world-class hospitality and service standards.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
