Job summary

Cloudland at McLemore Resort in Georgia is seeking a detail‑oriented Banquet Server to set up and maintain all function rooms, assist in service during events, and ensure safety standards. You will read BEOs, arrange tables, coordinate with Sales and F&B, and help with equipment and AV as needed, bringing cordial, professional guest service and a team spirit.

A high school education or equivalent and at least six months in hotel or convention center banquet operations are required; multiple

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Six months hotel or convention center banquet service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow BEOs and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean and maintain function rooms, buffets and tables per BEOs.
• Assist servers during service and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Ensure storerooms are organized and equipment is maintained and safe.
• Communicate concerns to Banquet Manager and support a team environment.

Provide excellent customer service and work closely with guests, Sales, and the Food and Beverage departments.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES*** Check server’s and house person’s BEOs to ensure that all information is accurate.* Set rooms, buffets, and tables according to BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions. Check electrical hook-ups for proper working order and tape down all exposed cords for equipment in use.* Perform all guest contact activities or guest request with a cordial, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to excellence.* Ensure that all storerooms are clean, organized and secured. Assist in equipment inventory as scheduled. Attend staff set- up and technical training on a regular basis.* Organize Banquet hall to ensure a productive, safe and energy conserving work environment.
