Dimension Hospitality Group is seeking a dependable Banquet House Person in Whippany, NJ to help prepare and reset banquet spaces for events. You will set up rooms, arrange furniture, and assist with breakdown while keeping areas guest-ready and safe.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders.

• Assist with event breakdown and room resets.
• Report maintenance issues or missing equipment.
• Support banquet staff with additional tasks.

If you enjoy hands on work and helping events run smoothly behind the scenes, keep reading. As a Banquet House Person, you support the banquet team by setting up event rooms, arranging furniture, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with breakdown after events. You help ensure all meeting and event spaces are guest ready and meet hotel standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and layout requirements
• Move, arrange, and store tables, chairs, and event equipment
• Assist with placing linens, decorations, and setup materials
• Maintain cleanliness of event spaces, hallways, and storage areas
• Help with event breakdown and resetting rooms for the next function
• Report maintenance issues or missing equipment
• Support banquet staff with additional tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and setting equipment
