Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Scottsdale is seeking a Banquet House Person to support the banquet team by setting up event rooms, arranging furniture, and ensuring spaces meet hotel standards. You will assist with linen placement, decorations, and breakdown after events to keep spaces guest-ready.

Ideal candidates are dependable, physically able to lift and move heavy items, and comfortable working on their feet. Prior event, housekeeping, or hospitality exposure is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, move, push and pull equipment.
• Reliable and punctual with a safety‑first mindset.
• Able to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
• Hospitality or event/housekeeping background is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and layout requirements.
• Move, arrange, and store tables, chairs, and event equipment.
• Assist with linens, decorations, and setup materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of event spaces, hallways, and storage areas.
• Help with event breakdown and resetting rooms for the next function.
• Report maintenance issues or missing equipment.
• Support banquet staff with additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and setting equipment.
