Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is hiring a Banquet Food Server to deliver exceptional guest service at our hotel's convention events in New Jersey. The role requires a minimum of 1 year banquet service experience and to hold both Alcohol Beverage Server and Food Handlers certifications.

You will set up banquets, serve food and beverages with professionalism, and help ensure a memorable guest experience. We offer full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
• Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities

Essential Job Functions

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the meeting spaces and kitchen areas

Pay Rate

$17.31 per hour
