Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional guest service at our New Jersey location. You will set up banquet spaces, serve food and drinks, and ensure a smooth flow of events throughout shifts.

The role requires at least 1 year of banquet experience, and you must hold an Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification and a Food Handlers Certification. We offer full-time hours and competitive benefits in a hospitality-focused environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
• Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities

Physical Demands:

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 - 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the meeting spaces and kitchen areas

pay rate range per hour: $17.31

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
