The Berkeley City Club is a historic hotel, event space, restaurant and bar, and social club. Originally opened in 1930 as the Berkeley Women’s City Club, our architect Julia Morgan’s unique Moorish‑gothic vision comes to life through soaring arches, ornamental architecture, inviting courtyards, and a breathtaking indoor pool. Job Overview

We are looking for a self‑starter with the ability to work well individually as well as with a team. In this role, you will work closely with your fellow food & beverage team to ensure all private events are set up properly and run smoothly to ensure an optimal guest experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with Audio/Visual equipment including screen projectors, sound mixers, speakers, microphones, and lighting preferred
• Knowledge of fine dining standards for banquet service preferred
• Critical thinking skills while in a high‑pressure environment
• Resourcefulness and creativity
