Job summary

Compass Group USA, parent of Flik Hospitality, seeks a Banquet Manager for the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. You will oversee event planning and operations, coordinating with the operations team to consistently exceed client expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, at least five years in hospitality with four in management, and prior hotel banquet supervision. Flexibility for AM/PM shifts, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is required.
• Minimum five years in hospitality, including four in management.
• Must have supervisory/banquet management experience in a hotel.
• Must have flexible availability, AM/PM shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees internal and external catering events.
• Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan with event planning service and menu development.
• Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff and develops them in service techniques.
• Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor and food cost control, setup and teardown.
• Books, prices menus, and sources temporary staff and equipment.
