Job summary

AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin seeks a Banquet Cook to produce hot and cold items for banquet and catering events, following Flik standards. You will prepare items with consistent quality for events, adhere to SOPs, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cooking per Chef instructions, proper food rotation, sanitation, mise en place organization, and assisting in next-shift prep.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet and catering food service.
• Ability to prep food quickly while maintaining quality and safety.
• Proficiency in following SOPs and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality for banquet and catering events.
• Date and rotate food items per SOP.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Cook orders as requested by the Chef and Banquet Event Orders.
• Start ahead items and prepare appropriate quantities.
• Maintain sanitation and proper temperatures for perishables.
• Organize items on mise en place carts as directed.
• Monitor food waste and assist in cost-control actions.
• Report product concerns or shortages to management.
• Assist in prep work for the next shift.
• Return unused items to storage with date and cover perishables.
